Our Story

Masresha and Elsa

God writes the best love stories โ€” and ours began long before either of us understood it.

We grew up in the same small town of Wolliso, Ethiopia, sharing a childhood friendship that life eventually pulled apart โ€” different universities, different cities, different worlds. But some bonds are simply meant to find their way home.

Years later, we reconnected, and what unfolded was quiet, natural, and deeply familiar โ€” long conversations, shared faith in God, and the growing certainty that this was exactly where we were both supposed to be.

On a quiet evening in Alexandria, Virginia, Masresha got down on one knee and told Elsa she was his first love, his answered prayer, his greatest blessing. She said yes. ๐Ÿ’ On September 19th, 2026, in Washington, DC โ€” forever starts here.
